Very disappointing stay at Extended Stay America Boston–Peabody. On the second night, we found a cockroach in the room and were moved. On the last night, woke up with bed bug bites and found a live bed bug. We reported both issues immediately. Despite this, the hotel refused any refund or compensation. Extremely poor handling of the situation. I would not recommend staying here.

When we arrived they said we had no reservation. I showed them the email confirmation as well as their email saying they looked forward to our stay (sent a couple weeks before our stay). When I tried to speak with the front desk he kept cutting me off, said the emails did mean we had a reservation and showed zero understanding. We had to pay out of pocket for a room as it was late.

Rooms seemed run down smelled like old cigarettes, fan constantly running heater clanked when on, bed was smelly. Staff was pleasant, I asked to change rooms but other room still smelled musty. This was $160 with taxes. Definitely not worth it. Should have been under $100 kind of place.

Define desk had a lady complaining of the place at bed bugs it didn't I knew she just said it cuz I just come in to check in but I mean the place is very nice is very happy with it but it does need some updating with the couch was ripped the beds were fine no place is nice it's it's one of the hotels that also just need updating and I invest in hotels so let's let's invest in this one

Dont stay, dirty the room smelt as if someone died in there, there was dust caked in the corners of the floor in the hallways, the front desk gentleman was nice but this property is not worth any money. We ended up sleeping in our car rather than try and tough it out. Our expectations were very low but this location couldnt even stand up to a days in thats located in a bad area.
